Hi, I'm Katie.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I've spent much of my career working with children, teens, families, and individuals who don't always fit neatly into a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

I have a particular interest in ADHD and neurodivergence, and I enjoy helping people better understand how their brains work rather than approaching differences as something that simply needs to be “fixed.”

My style is warm, conversational, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves in therapy while also leaving with greater understanding and practical ways to navigate what's happening outside of our sessions.

Why Telehealth?

Moving to telehealth has allowed me to create a more flexible practice while continuing to individualize therapy.

For kids, I use interactive technology and creative activities rather than expecting virtual therapy to simply recreate an adult talk-therapy session on a computer.

For adults, telehealth can remove another barrier from an already busy life. You can meet from a private space without adding a commute, waiting room, or another destination to your day.

My Background

Before private practice, my work included school counseling, child welfare, community-based services, and outpatient therapy.

My experience as a school counselor gave me firsthand familiarity with 504 Plans, IEPs, accommodations, school behavior, and collaboration among students, parents, teachers, counselors, and other professionals.

I've also spent years working therapeutically with children and families using play, creativity, art-based interventions, parent collaboration, and developmentally appropriate approaches.

As my practice has grown, so has my work with adults—particularly adults navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, executive functioning, overwhelm, and major life transitions.

Creating a space where people feel accepted matters a lot to me. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodivergent affirming, and I welcome clients with different identities, family structures, backgrounds, and ways of experiencing the world.
