Katie Hayman, LCSW

Clinician/ Founder

I thrive in supporting children and their families through a warm, creative, and relationship-centered approach. My office is designed to feel safe, welcoming, and sensory-friendly, allowing kids to express themselves freely through play, movement, and artistic exploration.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education, collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. I bring extensive experience writing 504 plans, participating on IEP teams, and advocating for accommodations that help each child thrive. This background deeply informs my therapeutic work, allowing me to bridge the gap between school, home, and mental health systems.

I am passionate about helping caregivers understand their child’s needs, strengthen communication, and build effective parenting strategies that support emotional regulation and connection. My goal is to empower both children and parents with skills, confidence, and a deeper sense of understanding.

Whether through imaginative play, expressive art, or collaborative family sessions, I strive to offer a space where every child feels seen, valued, and supported in being their fullest self.
